Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), also known as CHARUSAT University, was founded by a non-profit premier education trust called Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal. Established in 2000, the University is a state funded university located in Changa, Gujarat. The sponsoring body of CHARUSAT Anand is the Kelavani Mandal. Furthermore, the university is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
